Several Injured as Turbulence Strikes Delta Flight into Sydney

Several people sustained injuries following a Delta Airlines flight originating in LA to Sydney was hit by turbulence on Friday morning.

The flight, numbered 41 "encountered brief turbulence" as it landed at Sydney Airport, a company official told. A number of the onboard staff sustained injuries.

Emergency medical services stated they evaluated five individuals, and transferred a trio to a medical facility with relatively minor issues that included spinal discomfort and migraines. Those affected ranged from their 30s up to the 70s.
